John Makaryshyn has been a loyal supporter of the Children’s Ability Fund
for a number of years through his support of the WING DING – our annual
hot chicken wing eating contest. John’s annual contribution of the grand
prize has been a contributing factor to the tremendous success of the event.
Since inception in 1999, the Gateway Entertainment Recreation Center has hosted the Gary, Audie & Friends Bowl for Children. In addition to their time and expertise, the center donates the entire use of the facility for one of our most popular and successful fundraising events.

the Children's Ability Fund> by proudly displaying each logo on
their fleet of trucks.

The Children’s Ability Fund is delighted to be included in the 7-Eleven National
Canister Program. Each month a local charity is the recipient
of the proceeds from coin boxes located in each store. Over the past ten years we have received more than $22,000 from this project.

We are very pleased to be the “charity of choice” for Ben Moss Jewellers here in Edmonton and have many reasons to be so thankful to the Ben Moss family.
Ben Moss Children’s Charities donates the proceeds from their Christmas promotion each year. This promotion has generated more than $25,000 for the Children’s Ability Fund over the past several years. Ben Moss Jewellers also supports many of our special projects by donating prizes and staff participation and, each month we receive donations from employees who have chosen to donate through the employee deduction plan.
For all of their great works, Ben Moss Jewellers was recognized as the OUSTANDING SMALL BUSINESS at Philanthropy Day in Edmonton. We feel very fortunate to have such great support from such an outstanding group.
About Ben Moss Children’s Charities
Started in 1999, the Ben Moss Children’s Charities committed to raising funds in support of local children’s charities for disabled and disadvantages children. Charities are chosen by the employees and money donated is raised from the sale of selected products, special promotions and employee donations. As the folks at Ben Moss say… "When people work together to make a difference, it can happen. We can make our communities better and healthier for all children."
